Why we built free household tools

Many UK households search for quick answers before they commit to a new app or supplier call. UtilityPilot’s free tools are designed to give you straightforward estimates and checklists, using official-style data structures where possible.

These pages are separate from the UtilityPilot customer portal. You can use them without signing in. If you later create a free account, you can save bill results, track due dates and compare charges across electricity, gas, water, broadband and more in one workspace.

What you can use today

The Council Tax Checker, Energy Price Cap Calculator and Free AI Bill Check are live. Compare council tax, model energy costs, or upload a bill for a quick summary.

Water supplier lookup, broadband availability and EPC insights are listed below and will roll out in phases. Cards marked Coming soon are placeholders — we do not show fabricated results for those tools.

Guidance, not government advice

UtilityPilot is an independent UK utility intelligence platform. We are not a government service. Tool outputs are estimates for guidance. Always confirm council tax band, supplier details and contractual charges using official sources or your own bills.
