Terms of service

By creating an account and using UtilityPilot you agree to these terms. They are written to be readable, not exhaustive — please contact us if anything is unclear.

Last updated: May 2026

What UtilityPilot is

UtilityPilot is a UK-focused workspace for tracking and understanding utility and recurring service bills (electricity, gas, water, broadband, mobile, waste, council tax, insurance and similar categories). It helps you upload bills, see them summarised, monitor due dates, and request supplier quote context on your own terms.

What UtilityPilot is not

  • UtilityPilot does not provide legal, tax, financial or switching advice.
  • UtilityPilot does not automatically switch you between suppliers.
  • UtilityPilot does not pay your bills on your behalf.
  • Savings figures and quote comparisons are estimates only — verify with suppliers before acting.

Accounts

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for the activity that happens inside your workspace. Do not share login details with anyone you do not trust. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.

Acceptable use

  • Upload only documents that you have the right to share with UtilityPilot.
  • Do not upload illegal, malicious or fraudulent material.
  • Do not attempt to bypass security, plan limits or workspace separation.
  • Do not abuse the supplier marketplace by submitting fake bills or quote requests.

Plans, billing and Stripe

UtilityPilot is currently in early access. The Free plan is active. Paid plans (Early Access Plus, Family, Business / Property) are not yet wired into a checkout. Limits and features may evolve before paid billing launches.

When paid plans go live, billing terms (taxes, invoicing, cancellation, refunds) will be presented at checkout and superseded by the agreement you accept there. Until then no card details are required.

AI extraction and accuracy

UtilityPilot uses automated extraction to read the bills you upload. The extraction can be wrong. Always verify totals, dates and other critical figures against the original supplier document before acting.

Service availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The portal may be unavailable for maintenance, upgrades or factors outside our control. We are not liable for losses arising from such interruptions.

Termination

You can delete your workspace at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, abuse the platform, or place other users at risk.

Liability

To the extent permitted by UK law, UtilityPilot is provided on an as-is basis. We are not liable for consequential losses arising from missed deadlines, incorrect figures or supplier decisions made on the basis of UtilityPilot output. Always confirm important details with your supplier.

Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be announced inside the portal. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
